WildCape Manuka UMF 15+ 500g (2 Bottles)

WildCape Manuka UMF 15+ 500g (2 Bottles)

WildCape is the only single source Manuka honey harvested exclusively from the East Cape region of New Zealand to your home.

Geographically isolated by the Raukumara ranges to the west, the East Cape of New Zealand has remained sparsely populated and unspoiled.

Often regarded as producing the finest Manuka honey in New Zealand, Manuka flowers in the East Cape region produce nectar naturally high in Dihydroxyacetone (DHA), a precursor to the compound Methylglyoxal (MGO). The result is Manuka honey with consistently higher strength and a delicious, mild flavour for you to enjoy.

UMF 15+ – Contains MGO 514+.

MGO stands for Methylglyoxal and it is a naturally occurring compound found in the Manuka honey which is responsible for its antibacterial properties. The higher the UMF number, the higher the MGO content and the more antibacterial strength the honey has.
